A Lorain County-based food bank that’s been struggling to keep up with demand while dealing with a drastic drop in donations, received a major financial boost.
During their meeting June 15, Lorain County commissioners approved a $500,000 grant for the Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio.
The money will come from American Rescue Plan Act dollars the county received. Commissioners approved the resolution for the grant by a 3-0 vote.Read full article at The Morning Journal
