Harvest for Hunger

Second Harvest Mobile Pantry Corps

Harvest for Hunger

Harvest for Hunger is the largest annual community-wide campaign in the country that raises food and funds to stock food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters throughout 21 counties.

The campaign is in partnership between four food banks focusing on fighting hunger across our regions. Last year, we have raised more than $340,000 and 4,000 pounds of food. Join us this March by saying no to local hunger and yes to feeding families. Together, we can ensure families aren’t forced to make difficult choices between necessities and nutritious food!

Meet our 2023 Harvest for Hunger Honorary Chair:

Second Harvest is proud to announce Sundaram “Naga” Nagarajan, President & CEO of Nordson Corporation, as the Honorary Chairperson for the 2023 Harvest for

Hunger campaign. Nagarajan serves as the President and CEO of Nordson Corporation, an innovative precision technology company headquartered in Westlake, Ohio. Forty years ago, Nordson’s founders, Eric and Evan Nord created the County Cupboard, which grew into Second Harvest and is located in the Nordson Food Distribution Center in Lorain County.

"Nordson and Second Harvest have a storied history," said Julie Chase-Morefield, President & CEO of Second Harvest. "Naga has embraced his role as a leader in the community and has a passion of our mission. We're thrilled he is serving as the 2023 Honorary Chairperson for one of the most vital campaigns we participate in each year."

Nordson maintains that rich legacy through the support of Second Harvest and the critical mission it serves. Every dollar raised in our community during the Harvest for Hunger campaign will help our region restock the shelves of food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters.

Help Us Reach Our 2023 Goal to Provide Over 2.5 Million Meals!
