A Good Time Had By ALL!

What did you do on your extra day this year?

Many came out to the Nordson Food Distribution Center to help kick off the 2016 Harvest for Hunger campaign. “The kick-off is a fun and festive way for everyone who is working on the campaign to get together as we embark on this year’s challenge,” said Julie Chase-Morefield, Executive Director for Second Harvest.

Guest speakers – including Tony Gallo, President and CEO of the Lorain County Chamber of Commerce and this year’s Harvest for Hunger Honorary Chairperson; Chris Gibson, Senior VP for Giant Eagle; Paul Adair, Second Harvest Board Chair; MaryAnn Schaefer, Table of Plenty Director; and Craig Adams, WEOL – all conveyed their excitement for the program but echoed the seriousness of the need. Many businesses, groups and organizations are planning on participating.
