The campaign is in partnership between four food banks focusing on fighting hunger across our regions. Join us this March by saying no to local hunger and yes to feeding families. Together, we can ensure families aren’t forced to make difficult choices between necessities and nutritious food!
Second Harvest is pleased to announce that Cynthia Andrews, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Community Foundation of Lorain County, will be this year’s Harvest for Hunger Honorary Chairperson.
We first got to know Cindy when she was appointed Executive Director of Oberlin Community Services, one of our larger partner charities. She knows firsthand how important the Harvest for Hunger campaign is to our partners and the community. The food and funds raised from this campaign go directly to support our network of partners.
During this time of increasing need, a successful 2024 campaign will offer the resources to restock shelves across our region with nutritious food for all those accessing our services. Cindy understands that by working together, we can accomplish more, which makes her ideal for the position of Honorary Chair for the 2024 Harvest for Hunger Campaign.
