Our Starting Line-Up

You know this has been a busy year at Second Harvest…  a new building, more activity, lots of excitement. YES! We are growing and have added experienced staff to help us grow into the future. We thought we’d introduce you to those staff members who are new to our starting line-up this year and long-time staff members who received well-deserved promotions to help us navigate our growth:

Welcome our New Staff:

  • Tami Kluding, Business Services Manager: Tami joined us in January and has been a great addition to our team. She is our go-to person for finance and human resources. Tami, who is from Norwalk, loves all outdoor activities like camping and gardening, especially those she can share with her three boys.
  • Katy Andrijowych, Program & Education Coordinator: Katy joined us in December to work directly with our partner charities for training and compliance. She organizes our many programs, publishes the monthly Soup to Nuts newsletter and is busy now putting together this year’s Farmer’s Markets. She is part of the leadership team for the local Girls Scouts, is an avid photographer and gardener. Katy lives in Amherst Township with her husband and two daughters.
  • Mindi Flynn, Donor Services Assistant: The welcoming smile and warm greeting you receive when you walk in the door is from Mindi. She joined our team in December. Her other responsibilities include managing the donor database and assisting with External Affairs programs and events. Mindi is very creative and has an extensive background in retail and customer relations.  She enjoys crafting and running and resides in LaGrange with her husband and daughter.

Congratulations to our long-time staff members who recently received promotions:

  • Kacy Porter to Food Resource Coordinator: Kacy was our go-to person in business services for the past 7 years.  She's now tasked with working with our food donors to bring in food and grocery products to fill our 41,000 square foot building. With her enthusiasm, persistence and dedication to our mission, bright days are ahead. Kacy loves camping, cooking and sushi. She and her family reside in Sheffield Lake.
  • Becky Bardsley to Donor Relations Coordinator. Becky has been a valued staff member for 7 years.  She started with us in donor development coming from the world of education and non profit fundraising - giving her the perfect blend of knowledge, organization and experience to help with the growing demands of our External Affairs department.  Becky is an avid Marvel Movie fan and resides in Sheffield Village with Dan and their Chesapeake Bay Retreiver, Logan.
  • Susan Bartosch to Director of External Affairs:  Susan joined us 5 years ago as we expanded our External Affairs department in preparation for our capital campaign. After navigating a successful capital campaign for the new facility, Susan and her team are charged with the daily work of sharing the news about the work we do with our friends, donors, sponsors and potential supporters to ensure we have the resources we need to fullfill our mission. She has an extensive background in non-profit development and has a great passion for the work we do here. Susan is a sports fan and loves gardening. She and her family live in Amherst.
