Operation Dough-Nation®

Panera Bread has selected the Harvest for Hunger campaign as their January Operation Dough-Nation® partner. During the month of January, Panera staff will invite guests to support Harvest for Hunger when they place and pay for their order. There are six Panera restaurants in our area that are participating: Avon Commons, North Ridgeville, Oak Point in Amherst, Cobblestone in Sheffield Village and the two turnpike restaurants in Amherst. Click here for a map. In all, there will be 47 restaurants participating throughout the whole Harvest for Hunger region.

“It is a partnership that makes great sense,” stated Julie Chase-Morefield, executive director for Second Harvest. “The cornerstone of Panera’s business is bread, the most basic food. We’re trying to fill a most basic need for our neighbors.”

So, remember to support the Operation Dough-Nation® campaign for Harvest for Hunger the next time you visit a participating Panera restaurant during the month of January.
