Fight Hunger. Spark Change at Walmart

Beginning April 6th, Walmart is teaming up with some of America’s favorite food manufacturers to fight hunger and spark change. Through the 2015 Fight Hunger Spark Change campaign, the public can raise money for Feeding America member food banks through three easy ways: in-store purchase, checkout line donations, and social media.

  1. In-store purchase: One item helps provide one meal. Walmart is working with six suppliers: Campbell’s, ConAgra Foods, General Mills, Kellogg’s, Kraft, and Unilever. Between April 6 and May 3, the purchase of 70 participating grocery products at Walmart will trigger a donation.
  2. Checkout Line: Walmart customers will be able to make donations at the cash register on behalf of their local food bank. Grab one of the $1, $2 or $5 coupons at the checkout.
  3. Social Media: Beginning April 6, share your photos to raise funds for the entire Feeding America network. Take a picture of six people who commit to fight hunger and post on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Use the hashtag #wesparkchange. Walmart will donate $10 for every qualifying post.

We will post and share additional information of how you can help April 6-May 3. Be sure to follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook!
