Second Harvest believes addressing Child Hunger must be a priority for our community. It’s why we are hosting our first Child Hunger Summit, which will take place on September 19th at Lorain County Community College's Reaser Grand Ballroom. The summit convenes partners from across our region to consider the impact of food scarcity on a child’s learning, physical and mental health along with the future economic impacts. The event will feature keynote speaker First Lady of Ohio Fran DeWine and featured speaker John Corlett from the Center for Community Solutions along with experts from education, healthcare, programs, social work and business. Register is required to be part of this important conversation.
