For the past three years we have been working tirelessly toward the goal of building a new facility to expand our capacity and ability to help more of our neighbors in need across our 4-county service area. One of the pillars of the new Nordson Food Distribution Center is increased refrigeration capacity so we can provide more healthy and fresh foods, often seen as a luxury to families and children. Providing fresh produce to our network of over 100 partner charities is a priority we are committed to at Second Harvest. But, we cannot do it alone. We are able to provide meals to our neighbors in need from a combination of philanthropic, community, individual, corporate, and government support at the federal and state levels.
