The weather was perfect for the 11th Annual Generous Helpings event as our friends and supporters helped us raise over $72,000 for our neighbors in need.

Second Harvest presented a grant for $11,250 to Nehemiah Partners in Sandusky to serve children at their Kids Cafe evening meal program for a year and to help with the purchase of much-needed equiment.
Sandusky City Manager, Eric Wobser, spoke about the need for places in Sandusky like the Nehemiah Center where kids can go after school to get a nutritious meal and be with other kids in a safe and caring environment.
