 NEWS:

• As part of the Governor’s order Second Harvest is as designated an essential service in the State of Ohio, as are the food pantries and hot meal programs. The support of the community means so much to all of us as we adjust each day to the changing demand on our resources. Last week our distribution was record-setting, in one week we distributed almost 450,000 LBS of food and supplies, six times higher than a normal week in March. The SH team has performed extraordinary work in meeting the demand.

• Yesterday, we welcomed the arrival of fifteen National Guard men and women who immediately went to work packing food, pulling orders in the warehouse and loading trucks alongside our dedicated team. Tomorrow they will add to that moving food directly to families at our mobile pantry distributions. Thank you Task Force Workhorse! #TFWorkhorse
